"Demountable Partition System" shall have components which can be disassembled, relocated, and substantially re-used.ystem shall consist of pre-finished vertical gypsum board panels, floor runner, top track, studs, inside and outside corner trims, door frames, and glazing components. Partition shall be 3 3/8" thick (unless noted otherwise) and have a 1 7/8" cavity with an uninterrupted" X 1 7/8" horizontal chase top and bottom and a full panel width vertical chase for distribution of utilities. The standard system will have a 1 hour fire rating.

2. Partition Panels: Vinyl- faced, Gypsum Panels; 3/4 inch thick x 24 inches wide x height of partition; edges beveled and kerfed for installation of studs, square cut ends. (Metal faced panels are available with painted or Pumice Vinyl finish. Call for information)

4. Aluminum Door Frames: All door frames shall be self mortising and reversible and allow adjustable locations for hinges and strike, complete with door mute. SMR Delta Series with a 20 minute fire rating based on a 4'-0 x 10'-0 fire test.

6. Sound Transmission: Standard Wall shall have 41/42 STC Rating. With the Addition of 1" thick "Thermafiber®" sound batts in the cavity where noted, the wall shall have a 47 STC sound rating.
